External Condition Survey
Nature – Commercial Restaurant & Bar

The large, 4-storey period commercial building is located in the heart of Preston city centre was originally constructed as a banking hall. The property was more recently converted as a restaurant and bar, which our client wished to refurbish to their requirements.
Torside were instructed to undertake an external fabric survey to ascertain the condition of the roof and external façades prior to acquisition. The main concern was significant leaks to the glazed roof areas to the rear. As many of the roof areas were inaccessible, we used one of our UAV’s (drones) to view and photograph the areas safely. Torside surveyors are trained to A2 CofC qualification for UAV use, and carry full indemnity insurance.
