Torside Building Consultants were instructed to undertake a building reinstatement cost assessment for Woodheys block of apartments consisting off blocks of flats and three garage blocks in support of an insurance policy.
Our building surveyors created the RCA by consideration of the following attributes for each building:
Our assessment uses the industry standard BCIS construction rates to create accurate and reliable reinstatement valuations if the property ever requires rebuilding in the event of a catastrophic event (total loss).
The reinstatement cost assessment produced by our building surveyors was issued to the client, who provided the document to their insurance provider. This was used to accurately assess the valuation of the properties in the unfortunate event of total loss.
An RCA was formulated for each of the four residential blocks of apartments and the three garage blocks separately to assist the client with their insurance needs, ensuring they are not under or over insured.
